The successful candidate will serve as a Senior Dev Ops Engineer reporting to the Infrastructure Management division.
The Senior Dev Ops Engineer will provide Site Reliability engineering to all current and new automation services and write/update/maintain code. Responsibilities will include:
- Monitor CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and application health dashboards. Triage alerts, apply documented fixes for low/medium issues, and escalate complex incidents to Senior Dev Ops.
- Write, update, and maintain basic scripts, YAML configs and Terraform/Ansible modules under senior guidance to support deployment and infrastructure changes.
- Perform smoke testing and validation of deployments in dev/staging environments. Verify that monitoring, logging, and alerts function correctly after code or config changes.
- Participate in design sessions and code reviews with senior engineers. Build expertise in Linux, containers, Git, IaC, and observability tools while following team standards and change control processes.
- Maintain wiki, up-to-date runbooks, deployment guides, and troubleshooting documentation to reduce knowledge silos and support faster incident response.
- Perform special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Hours/Shift: Day - Due to the technical duties of this position in a 24/7 operation, candidate may be required to work overtime and/or various shifts such as weekends and/or nights/evenings.
