Key Responsibilities Evaluate complex life insurance applications and determine eligibility for coverage Develop and maintain relationships with agents and other departments Provide mentorship and training to other life underwriters as needed
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with five years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience Working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing, and email software Underwriting experience with in-depth knowledge of related business lines preferred Pursuit of industry designations such as ALMI, FLMI, FALU, or CLU is required Occasional travel may be required
