Buyer, Supply Chain​/Logistics

The Buyer will play a critical role in the Procurement & Supply Chain department, focusing on sourcing and purchasing products for a retail business based in Brooklyn. This role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure the availability of quality products. Client Details A company in the retail industry located in Brooklyn.

Description Source and purchase products to meet business needs and customer demand. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality products. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors to maximize value for the company. Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing strategies as needed to minimize stockouts and overstock. Analyze market trends and vendor performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing activities with sales and marketing strategies. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all purchasing activities. Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance. Experience with procurement processes and supplier relationship management. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving cost savings and value. Familiarity with inventory management and demand forecasting techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Proficiency in relevant procurement and inventory management software. Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year.
