The Bedford-Stuyvesant Family Health Center (BSFHC) is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that serves all of the primary health care needs of families in the heart of North and Central Brooklyn. Our mission is to provide the most professional, courteous and highest quality health care, with dignity, to those we serve, especially the undeserved population, without regard for ability to pay.

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will lead, manage and oversee various projects to meet company strategic objectives and goals. Operations Project Manager oversees project execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timely delivery, and budget adherence while coordinating cross‑functional teams. Project Manager to lead strategic and operational project integrity initiatives within our healthcare organization.

The ideal candidate embodies a proactive, detail‑oriented approach to driving project success in a regulated environment and is responsible for managing:
Business projects related to healthcare initiatives, and the integration of technology solutions that support these functions. Cross‑functional teams, project timelines, ensuring efficient deployments, and bridging the gap between technical resources, and business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Project Management:
    Planning and Execution. Develop detailed project plans, define project scopes, and set deadlines to ensure timely delivery of projects. Tactically plan, execute, monitor, and close all projects particularly those involving healthcare. Manage and coordinate the full project life cycle with the stakeholders including gathering requirements, creation of project plans and schedules, obtaining and managing resources, and facilitating project execution, deployment and closure.
  • Performance Monitoring, Tracking & Documentation. Establish timelines and milestones to ensure deadlines are met. Monitor all projects schedule and document outcomes and requirements to assure regulatory and internal compliance, prepare status reports, and present findings to senior management.
  • Communication. Works collaboratively with Management and teams to achieve company targets and goals on projects. Provide regular updates to project sponsors, stakeholders, and team members. Maintain clear documentation and status reports.
  • Team Coordination and Management. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and address any issues that arise.
  • Process Improvement. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement best practices to improve project efficiency.
  • Quality & Compliance. Ensure project outcomes comply with BSFHC’s policies, healthcare regulations, IT security policies, and internal quality standards. Ensure company compliance in accordance with government and funders contractual obligations and operational standards of operation.
  • Tracking & Documentation. Establish timelines and milestones to ensure deadlines are met. Monitor all projects schedule and document outcomes and requirements to assure regulatory and internal compliance.
Education and Experience Required
  • Education:

    A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field is typically required. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Experience:

    3+ years’ experience in healthcare project management, operations, with a proven track record of leading cross‑functional teams.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency in project management tools, data analysis software and systems.
Other Related Skills and Experience
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills; ability to work in fast paced setting, addressing a variety of tasks and individuals administrative needs.
  • High level of accountability and initiative; needs to be a self‑starter and eager to do team work to support the organization as a whole.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills must demonstrate professionalism, courteous and respectful attitude in dealing with patients, team members, families and significant others.
  • Display courtesy, tact and patience with all members of the team members and extended community.
