Executive Director
This healthcare organization is entering its next phase of growth, and it needs an Executive Director who leads like a builder, not a caretaker. The role sits at the center of strategy, revenue growth, community partnerships, and operational performance for a healthcare organization aiming to become a premier provider in its space. This is a high-accountability seat for a leader who thinks in KPIs, builds strong teams, and is energized by scaling an organization while keeping it financially sound.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans across all service lines
- Drive census growth, referral development, and program expansion initiatives
- Build relationships with hospitals, healthcare providers, schools, community organizations, and managed care plans
- Identify new revenue opportunities, grants, contracts, and strategic partnerships
Leadership & Operations
- Provide overall leadership and direction for the organization
- Build, mentor, and hold accountable a high-performing leadership team
- Conduct regular strategy meetings with department heads focused on growth and performance
- Create a culture of accountability, excellence, innovation, and service
Financial Stewardship & Strategic Planning
- Partner closely with the CFO to ensure financial sustainability
- Review profitability, productivity, reimbursement trends, collections, and staffing ratios
- Develop KPI-driven performance metrics across all departments
- Serve as the organization's ambassador to the community, government agencies, referral sources, and healthcare partners
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory and licensing requirements
- Oversee audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation activities
- Promote a culture of ethical and compliant operations
Qualifications
- Executive leadership experience in healthcare, nonprofit management, or related fields
- Demonstrated success growing organizations, programs, revenue, and census
- Strong understanding of reimbursement, managed care, and healthcare operations
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and developing leadership staff
- Proven ability to implement KPI-driven management systems and accountability structures
- Excellent communication, leadership, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills
