Overview
As our Marketing & PR Manager for North America, you will be assisting and taking on responsibilities in various Marketing related matters, with focus on partnerships and collaborations. You’ll be working with our Brooklyn-based North America team as well as in close partnership with our online team at our HQ in Austria. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in marketing and to work with a large community of creative individuals.
Responsibilities- Brainstorm and conceptualize marketing projects to develop the visibility and reach of the Lomography brand in North America
- Execute international marketing concepts in the North American region
- Build and nurture excellent relations with partners from the media, photography, fashion, music, cinema, and similar industries for bespoke products, online or offline projects
- Initiate contact with leads for partnerships
- Support our team with brand strategy and presentation in North America
- Organize community events (workshops, photowalks, exhibitions, online competition, giveaways etc.) in North America
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance community contribution and sales in North America
- Reporting sales and marketing activities
- Academic degree in Marketing, Business, Cultural Management or similar preferred or similar creative industries preferred
- Understanding of analogue photography is a must
- Proficient with Office pack, editing softwares are a plus
- Very good writing and communication skills
- Understanding of the importance of strong professional relationships
- Able to work autonomously and proactively, as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Interest for all things creative and with outgoing personality
- Must be well aware of the market trends, artistic & cultural scene
