Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Program Supervisor.
In this role, the successful candidate The Program Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and managing activities and programs designed to increase community members and patients access to healthy foods. This will include supervising the Table Project Facilitator, managing grants that support food initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies (including health and safety), overseeing projects that address food insecurity, and coordinating the Sunset Park Community Coalition in its mission and goals to address food insecurity in the community.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversees the operations of The Table food pantry including inventory, health and safety regulations, compliance, ordering and arranging for delivery of supplies, tracking of expenses, and monitoring equitable access for the pantry.
Provides grant-writing support on applications related to food insecurity initiatives
Ensures that grant deliverables are met and ensures financial accountability for grants
Promotes a positive environment for pantry clients and ensures client satisfaction
Reviews pantry data for continuous quality improvement.
Convenes and organizes Sunset Park Community Coalition meetings and collaborates with partners to develop mission, set goals, and provide support to partners in tracking progress towards meeting goals.
Comanage the Sunset Park Community Coalition pooled fund collaboratively with the VP of Community Programs and CBO representative including accepting applications, documenting requests and the disbursement of funds and monitoring fund balance.
Establishes and maintains relationships with key stakeholders involved in addressing food insecurity.
Supervises the Project Facilitator and provides ongoing guidance and programmatic support
Ensures that The Table participants are connected to Family Support Services
Works with leadership and grant writing staff to complete reports requested by funders.
Collaborates with community partners to ensure the integration of Food Corps members into each placement site.
Manages the Plentiful database including requests for client and programmatic data.
Assists in coordinating special outreach events or healthy eating initiatives
Stays up to date on best practices, policies, and legislation related to food insecurity and food access.
Provide oversight to the implementation of 1115 Medicaid Waiver activities as it pertains to Food Insecurity and Nutrition Education.
Work collaboratively with FSS leadership and FHC clinical teams in the implementation of various Food Is Medicine initiatives including the distribution of healthy food, nutrition education and cooking demonstrations.
Building capacity of the Table Pantry through volunteer recruitment and supervision and identification of food rescue opportunities in the community.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a
