Children's Room Specialist Intern

As a Children's Room Specialist Intern, you'll work with our Young Adult Families program serving children aged 2 and up living in one of our Supportive Housing. Participating in and facilitating appropriate early childhood and school-aged activities. You'll also participate in community outreach, service linkages, and other resources for the children in our program.

Some of the activities you'll lead are:

  • STEM projects
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Computer literacy
  • Homework help and education support
  • Development of life skills

You're a great fit for this role if you:

  • Are creative, responsible, patient, kind, and caring.
  • Enjoy working with children.
  • Have strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Have a valid US driver's license (preferred).
  • Have a school diploma (associate's degree preferred but not required).

Compensation

Actual compensation will not be less than the applicable minimum wage, prevailing wage, or exempt salary requirements under federal, state and local laws.
