Helping Children Reach Their Potential

Lighthouse CH seeks a faith-driven Children's Ministry & Support Specialist to help children reach their God-given potential. In this role, you will provide Christ-centered mentoring, emotional support, and structured activities for children and families facing difficult circumstances. You will lead small groups, coordinate outreach programs, and partner with staff, volunteers, and local churches to offer holistic care. This position is ideal for someone passionate about ministry, child development, and serving the Delray Beach community through a compassionate, family-focused Christian nonprofit.

Responsibilities

• Provide Christ-centered mentoring, emotional support, and guidance to children and youth facing difficult life circumstances
• Develop and facilitate age-appropriate outreach, educational, and support activities for children and families
• Collaborate with ministry staff, volunteers, and community partners to coordinate services and resources
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, participation, and outcomes in accordance with organizational guidelines
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to support children's spiritual, emotional, and social development
• Support ministry events, outreach programs, and community initiatives as needed
• Ensure a safe, nurturing, and respectful environment consistent with Christian values and child protection standards
• Participate in prayer, team meetings, and ongoing training to strengthen ministry effectiveness
