Position:
Rutland - Clinical Nurse Manager

Location:

Brooklyn, NY.
Pay Rate: $ 75/hr.

Schedule:

6:45 AM - 3:00 PM.

Duties:
-Understands Rutland Nursing Home's Mission and Core Values and incorporates them in daily practice.
-Continually strives to improve the organization's systems and processes.
-Makes decisions as a member of the team to fulfill our mission and vision.
-Treats every resident, family member, and co-worker with dignity, respect, and courtesy.
-Supports a clinical practice environment where nursing staff provides exceptional care for the residents.
-Creates and supports an environment of staff engagement and involvement to support a professional practice environment.
-Establishes relationships with resident, their families and guardians. Demonstrates excellent communication skills and ensures ongoing education of residents and their families. Encourages the families to partake in care of the resident.
-Assure that staff schedules are consistent with residents needs and provide the accountability of established standard of care.
-Collaborates with off shift and other administrative personnel to assure consistency of practice across all three shifts on a continual basis.

Requirements:
-Graduate of an accredited RN program.
-Bachelor's degree in Nursing Preferred Education.
-Acute or Long Term Experience
-Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently.
-Must meet or exceed all health standards and requirements for the position as established by NYDOH and all other regulatory agencies.
-Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this Center which includes a medical and physical examination.
-Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds.
-Perform tasks that may involve exposure to the resident's blood/body fluids.
-Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents, if necessary.

-Nurse Manager/Supervisory Experience
-Ventilator experience
