Position SummaryTRUE HEALTH NY is a growing, multi-site outpatient medical group providing Internal Medicine and OB‑GYN services across Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as Clinical Lead / Nurse Manager
, responsible for overseeing clinical operations, nursing staff, and clinical workflows across our outpatient sites.
This is a hands‑on leadership role focused on clinical quality, staff performance, patient safety, and provider support — not a hospital bedside role.
Key Responsibilities Clinical OversightServe as the clinical authority for nursing standards across all sites.
Oversee RN/LPN/MA clinical workflows and scope adherence.
Supervise clinical procedures support (injections, EKGs, ultrasounds, labs).
Ensure proper documentation, charting standards, and follow‑ups.
Act as escalation point for clinical issues before provider involvement.
Supervise and mentor MAs, LPNs, and RNs
.
Lead onboarding, competency assessments, and retraining.
Address performance issues, clinical errors, and workflow gaps.
Collaborate with administration on staffing needs and coverage planning.
Promote accountability, professionalism, and consistency across sites.
Operations & QualityStandardize clinical workflows across all locations.
Reduce provider interruptions through better triage and delegation.
Ensure compliance with NY State regulations and practice protocols.
Support quality improvement initiatives and patient experience goals.
Serve as liaison between providers, administration, and clinical staff.
Work closely with Medical Director, providers (MDs/NPs), and practice leadership.
Support new services, procedures, and clinic expansions.
Assist with policy rollout and clinical SOP implementation.
Qualifications RequiredActive Registered Nurse (RN) license – New York State
.
Minimum 5 – 10 years clinical experience
, preferably outpatient.
Strong background in OB‑GYN and/or Internal Medicine
.
Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
Excellent communication, organization, and decision‑making skills.
Comfortable enforcing standards and giving direct feedback.
PreferredPrior Nurse Manager / Clinical Lead experience.
Familiarity with EMRs (eClinical
Works or similar).
Experience training MAs/LPNs in outpatient settings.
Schedule & LocationFull‑time, primarily weekday schedule.
Travel between Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island sites as needed.
Limited direct patient care; focus on leadership and oversight.
