The Position:

This role is a forward facing position with daily interaction and discussion with Ditmas administrator, nursing director, social worker, nurse practitioners, parents, and rehab staff. This person should be:

• An effective and empathetic communicator

• Be able to prioritize responsibilities

• A multitasker

• Comfortable determining which cases are appropriate for admission

• Comfortable with delegation and organization of tasks

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage payroll for department employees

• Hiring appropriate staff

• Managing department budget

• Locate and communicate with DME vendors

• Overseeing admissions

• Administrative communication

• Communicate effectively with families and caregivers

• Standardize communication between staff

• Orientation for staff/establishing standards

• Annual performance reviews
