Registered Nurse – Psychiatric

Psychiatric Registered Nurse Opportunity

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse with experience in behavioral health to provide psychiatric nursing care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient mental health status and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and medications.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New York State RN license.
• Possess primary source verification of license and registration from NYS Department of Education.
• Have at least two years of behavioral health experience.
• Obtain and maintain AHA BLS certification.
• Possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
