Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Emergency Room Nurse

Provide expert nursing care in the Emergency Room setting, utilizing the nursing process to deliver immediate and comprehensive patient treatment. Ensure adherence to established standards of care while taking responsibility for patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients upon arrival to determine immediate and ongoing care needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans addressing physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with medical regimens and protocols.
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by LPNs, nursing attendants, and support staff.
• Observe, document, and communicate patient responses to treatment and interventions.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team planning to prioritize care and ensure timely interventions.

Qualifications:

• Hold a BSN degree from an accredited program.
• Possess 2–3 years of experience in a Level I or II Trauma Center.
• Be licensed as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Certified in TNCC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and AHA Stroke certification.
• Demonstrate competency with ventilator, tracheostomy, and gastrostomy tube management.
