Nursing Supervisor

MJHS, a mission-driven nonprofit health system in Brooklyn, NY, seeks a Nursing Supervisor to lead and support nursing teams across hospice, home care, and long-term care settings. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care across MJHS programs
• Oversee daily unit operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination
• Monitor and ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with interprofessional teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate nurses; support ongoing professional development
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives across hospice, home care, and long-term care settings
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff, modeling MJHS values of dignity and respect
• Address and resolve clinical and operational issues in a timely, professional manner
• Assist with onboarding and training of new nursing staff
