LPN Night

MJHS is seeking a compassionate LPN for night shifts to provide bedside care to patients in our mission-driven healthcare setting. The LPN will administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and document care in the EMR while responding promptly to changes in patient status. You will support patients and families with dignity and respect, collaborate with an interprofessional team across hospice, home care, and long-term care, and uphold infection control and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to patients during night shifts in accordance with care plans and physician orders
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor vital signs, and document patient status in the electronic medical record
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns to the RN or provider as needed
• Support patients and families with compassion, education, and emotional support aligned with hospice and long-term care goals
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team to coordinate safe, holistic care and smooth handoffs between shifts
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and accurate documentation to meet regulatory and MJHS policies
