Mandarin-Speaking Family Nurse Practitioner – Outpatient Pediatrics

Health Yes Staffing Network is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Family Nurse Practitioner for an established outpatient pediatric practice in the Brooklyn area of New York City.

This full-time or part-time position offers a base salary of $150,000–$207,000 plus bonus potential, flexible scheduling, and a true outpatient lifestyle with no nights, weekends, inpatient rounding, or call responsibilities.

The Family Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive pediatric care to newborns, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults through age 21. The practice serves a high-volume, culturally diverse patient population and provides modern electronic medical records, onsite support staff, and strong clinical and administrative infrastructure.

Experienced FNPs and new graduates with strong pediatric training are encouraged to apply.

Family Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care from birth through age 21
  • Conduct newborn, well-child, adolescent, and young-adult examinations
  • Perform developmental assessments, preventive screenings, and routine physical examinations
  • Administer and oversee age-appropriate immunizations
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and common pediatric conditions
  • Manage chronic pediatric conditions within the Family Nurse Practitioner's training and scope of practice
  • Monitor patients' physical, behavioral, and developmental health
  • Order and interpret laboratory testing, imaging, and other diagnostic studies
  • Develop evidence-based treatment and follow-up plans
  • Prescribe medications and monitor patients' responses to treatment
  • Counsel patients and families regarding nutrition, safety, wellness, growth, and developmental milestones
  • Coordinate referrals and collaborate with Pediatricians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Communicate clinical findings and treatment recommendations clearly to patients and families
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely electronic medical records
  • Deliver culturally responsive care to Mandarin-speaking patients and families
Family Nurse Practitioner Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program
  • Current national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Active New York State Registered Professional Nurse license and Nurse Practitioner certification, or eligibility to obtain both
  • Professional fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required
  • Comfortable practicing in a high-volume outpatient pediatric setting
  • Previous outpatient pediatric or primary care experience is preferred
  • New graduate FNPs with strong pediatric clinical training are encouraged to apply
  • Strong pediatric assessment and clinical decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and family-education abilities
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, patient-centered pediatric care
Schedule
  • Full-time: 40 hours per week
  • Part-time:
    Minimum of three days per week
  • No nights
  • No weekends
  • No call
  • No inpatient or hospital responsibilities
Compensation and Benefits
  • Base salary: $150,000–$207,000 annually
