Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and execute complex experiments using multi-color flow cytometry
- Analyze flow cytometry data using Flow Jo and FCS Express
- Perform antibody transfection and expression in cell lines
- Conduct hybridoma tissue culture and maintenance of cell lines
- Operate automated liquid handling and laboratory automation systems
- Perform day-to-day troubleshooting and cross-functional collaboration
- Identify and implement process improvement initiatives
- Train and mentor junior scientists on lab techniques and processes
- Independently analyze data and plan follow-up experiments
- Manage scheduling, operational, and lab maintenance activities
- Prepare and present experimental data at lab meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation per SOPs and protocols
- 2- 4 years of hands-on laboratory experience
- Strong experience with flow cytometry
- Proven experience in tissue culture and aseptic techniques
- Experience with antibody expression and transfection
- Experience in regulated laboratory environments preferred
- Multi-color Flow Cytometry (BD LSRII, Fortessa, Canto, Aria preferred)
- Tissue culture & hybridoma techniques
- Recombinant protein expression
- Flow Jo, FCS Express, BD FACS Diva
- Molecular biology (DNA preparation)
- Assay automation familiarity
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Cross-functional collaboration
- Scientific documentation & record keeping
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
- Cellular Biology
- Molecular Biology
- Immunology
- Cell Biology
- Or related scientific discipline
- Flow cytometry and tissue culture experience is mandatory
