RC&D Intern – IFF Egypt

Learn the fundamentals of flavor creation, including raw material knowledge, sensory descriptors, and ingredient functionalities.

Support laboratory activities and perform bench work while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Assist in flavor development projects and gain exposure to the different stages of the creation process.

Develop sensory and technical vocabulary to effectively describe and communicate flavor characteristics.

Collaborate with Flavorists, Scientists, and cross-functional teams on project-related activities.

Maintain accurate records of formulations, experiments, and project outcomes.

Contribute to a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the RC&D team.

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Strong interest in flavors, sensory science, and product development.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Curiosity and passion for science and innovation.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment.

Interest in sensory evaluation and translating observations into meaningful flavor language.

Proactive mindset with a desire to contribute and grow.
