Pookie Bakery is looking fulltime and part time friendly, energetic, and reliable front counter cashier to join our team. As the face of our bakery, you'll be responsible for creating a welcoming experience for every customer while keeping the front of house running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with a positive attitude
• Take customer orders accurately using our POS system
• Handle cash and card payments
• Package cookies and desserts with care
• Keep the front counter clean, organized, and stocked
• Answer customer questions about our products
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed
• Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining excellent customer service

Requirements:

• Friendly and outgoing personality
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills
• Basic math and cash handling skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus, but not required, we're happy to train the right person.
