The LiRo Group seeks a Geologist/Environmental Scientist for our Environmental Services department. In this role, you will support site investigations, remediation, and environmental compliance on a variety of infrastructure and development projects. Responsibilities include field sampling (soil, groundwater, air), data analysis, preparation of technical reports, and regulatory documentation. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to innovative, sustainable solutions, and interact with clients and regulators.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform field investigations, including soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling
  • Conduct environmental site assessments and prepare associated reports
  • Analyze environmental data and prepare figures, tables, and summaries
  • Support remediation design and implementation for contaminated sites
  • Prepare regulatory submittals and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and scientists across disciplines
  • Interface with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies as directed
  • Ensure field activities comply with health, safety, and quality procedures
  • Utilize GIS and environmental modeling or data management tools as needed
  • Contribute to proposal preparation and project scoping
