** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to the public and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

+ Conduct regular and random foot patrols of platforms, corridors, entrances, and perimeter areas to help to deter prohibited activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and/or service disruptions in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate updates to appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.

+ Monitor access points, verify authorized entry when required, and assist with crowd direction and line management during peak traffic and special events.

+ Complete reports and incident documentation, preserve observations and timelines, and relay relevant information through established channels, including radio and/or phone communications.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess a New York State Security Guard License.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
