** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support within a government location serving the public.

+ Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.

+ Monitor visitor, staff, and resident movement as directed by site policies, helping to support orderly operations and appropriate use of restricted or authorized areas.

+ Prepare routine reports on daily activities, incidents, and/or policy violations, and communicate professionally with the public, client representatives, and emergency personnel when needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A New York State Security Guard License is required.

+ At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
