Position: Armed Security Officer  Transportation Agency
Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to riders, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, facilities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity;
Monitor access points, screen for restricted-area entry concerns, and verify credentials and/or authorizations in accordance with location policies and post orders;
Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with post requirements, prepared to respond to escalated situations
