Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers at a shelter location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.;
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, building perimeters, entrances, and common areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.;
Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.;
Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain awareness of authorized entry procedures, and report unauthorized access or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel.
