- Maintain a working knowledge of all Finishing tools, including but not limited to: HVLP sprayers, airless sprayers, orbital and pneumatic sanders, polishing wheels, and various other faux finishing tools.
- Mix paint and match custom colors as needed.
- Apply faux finishing techniques according to the direction of the Lead Scenic/Finisher or Finishing Manager.
- Assist with sanding, patching, priming, and preparation of high-quality Millwork finishes, e.g. hardwood, veneer, MDF, metal, plastics, etc.
- Travel onsite when needed for touch-up calls or onsite Finishing work.
- Maintain a positive attitude and collaborative spirit in a dynamic work environment.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with peers and supervisors.
- Work quickly and efficiently with respect for deadlines.
- 3+ years of related Scenic, Millwork Finishing, or Painting experience.
- Visual examples of previous work.
- Proficiency in patching, seaming, sanding, painting with brushes and rollers, and HVLP spraying.
- Working knowledge of carpentry techniques.
- Willingness to work extended hours when necessary to meet deadlines.
- Ability to use ladders and meet the rigors of a physically demanding job.
