Plumbing Foreman
As a Plumbing Foreman, you will be responsible for laying out work, ordering materials, conducting safety talks, and managing teams effectively. Your expertise will be vital in overseeing installations of No Hub, branch lines, shower lines, gas lines, copper plumbing, and cast iron plumbing. You will also perform brazing and soldering of copper pipe, and handle PVC and PEX installations. Your role will include ensuring efficient plumbing systems for drain lines, shower lines, sewer lines, gas lines, and septic lines.
Responsibilities:
- Lay out work and order necessary materials.
- Conduct safety talks and manage teams.
- Install and oversee No Hub, branch lines, shower lines, and gas lines.
- Supervise copper plumbing and cast iron plumbing installations.
- Perform brazing and soldering of copper pipes.
- Handle PVC and PEX plumbing installations.
- Ensure efficient plumbing systems for drain, shower, sewer, gas, and septic lines.
Essential
Skills:
- Proven experience in plumbing, brazing, and cast iron piping.
- Proficiency in plumbing/fire protection, copper plumbing, and finish plumbing.
- Ability to read blueprints and lay out work.
- Familiarity with No Hub, copper plumbing, cast iron plumbing, and sewer & drain systems.
- Expertise in shower lines, drain lines, and plumbing fixture work.
- Knowledge of plumbing design and installation of gas lines.
Additional Skills &
Qualifications:
- OSHA 30 + SST 10 card required; SST 62 Supervisor is preferred
- F60 and G60 card required
- DOB Gas Card preferred

Work Environment:
You will work in various locations including Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and the Bronx, accessible by car or public transportation. The environment demands perfect attendance and a proactive approach, with strict customer guidelines. The working hours start at 5:00am or 8:00am and end between 3:00pm and 5:00pm, with overtime available. The workspace requires a team player attitude, free from ego and confrontation, with a focus on producing high-quality work.
Employees must bring their own tools, PPE, and measurement tools.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
