PLC Controls Technician — Brooklyn, NY
We're seeking a skilled PLC Controls Technician to support automation equipment across a commercial kitchen facility, with a primary focus on an ILPRA tray sealing machine running Mitsubishi controls and a GSI labeling/printing system.
Day shift, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday-Friday
Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Mitsubishi PLC-controlled automation equipment, primarily the ILPRA tray sealing machine. Diagnose and resolve electrical and controls issues to minimize equipment downtime. Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and equipment status. Collaborate with the senior electrical technician and broader maintenance team. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on site.
Support kitchen equipment/appliance repair as needed (not required, but valued).
Strong Mitsubishi PLC programming and troubleshooting experience — core requirement. Electrical troubleshooting experience. Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams. Prior experience in a food production, commercial kitchen, or industrial/manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a physically demanding environment. Comfortable working with specialty/niche industrial packaging equipment. Team-oriented, proactive, strong culture fit.

Compensation: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
