Join a team building major commercial projects across the New York Metro Area. We're looking for a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic with experience installing commercial HVAC ductwork and working from blueprints in fast-paced construction environments.
What You'll Do- Install rectangular, spiral, and oval ductwork systems
- Read blueprints and HVAC layouts
- Fabricate and modify sheet metal components in the field
- Perform rooftop cut-ins and fan installations
- Install supports, dampers, and HVAC components
- Work safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines
- Commercial sheet metal/HVAC experience
- Blueprint reading skills
- Field fabrication experience
- Rooftop installation experience
- OSHA 30 Certification
- SST 10 Certification
- Large commercial construction experience
- Lead mechanic or crew leadership experience
- Familiarity with NYC/NY commercial projects

This is a contract position based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
