Summary of position:
The social worker is responsible for assessing the psychosocial functioning, coordinating mental health and substance abuse treatment, connection to wellness services, crisis intervention and maintaining a caseload of high-risk families living in a families with children homeless shelter. The employee will meet individually and in groups with clients to assist them in developing and implementing a treatment plan, identifying problems, strengths, weaknesses, coping skills and providing assistance as needed.

Group and individual clinical and task supervision are provided.

Experience, education and special requirements:
Must have a master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). LMSW required within 6 months of hire. Clinical hours available after obtaining social work license. Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.
