VOIS (Vodafone Intelligent Solutions) is a strategic arm of Vodafone Group Plc, creating value for customers by delivering intelligent solutions through Talent, Technology & Transformation. Albania, Egypt, Hungary, India, Romania, Spain, Turkey, UK, Germany, Ireland, and with a network of teams in Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, and Portugal.

This role is suited to individuals with strong backend expertise who enjoy working on complex, distributed systems using modern Java frameworks, cloud technologies, and microservices architectures. The position follows a hybrid working model and offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale, business-critical platforms within a global environment.

• Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications for enterprise-wide platforms.
• Build and enhance microservices using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security.
• Develop solutions to complex technical problems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Work with Java 8 or Java 17 environments, applying modern language features and best practices.
• Implement containerised services using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate within CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient build, test, and deployment processes.
• Contribute to cloud-based deployments and services, with exposure to AWS environments.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned to business needs.
• Apply strong problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues.

• You have strong hands-on experience with Java and enterprise application development.
• You bring solid expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Security frameworks.
• You have experience designing and working with microservices architectures.
• You are comfortable working with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• You have familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• You demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• You communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• You collaborate well with others and contribute positively within diverse, distributed teams.
