Overview:
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for duties related to warehousing such as receiving, loading, and inventory control.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for performing tasks as described and assigned by the Department Supervisor/Lead.
* Operates forklifts to stack and retrieve product, supplies and operating materials.
* Receiving - unloading trucks, verifying condition and count of items received.
* Storing and Rotating - putting product away in designated areas such that old stock is available before any new stock is used.
* Shipping - consolidating footprints and readying orders for shipment including loading trucks per SOP and work instruction.
* Inventory Control - helping to maintain an accurate count for the quantities of product on hand.
* Keeping Distribution areas in a clean and safe condition.
* Must keep pace with work area and team.
* Must work as a team player, ensuring product specifications are attained in a safe and efficient manner and communicate well with other team members.
* Must follow company's GMP's, SOP's, Rules and Policies.
* Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
* Strives to satisfy the requirements of internal and external customers.
* Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
* No prior experience necessary.
* Preferred proficiency in the safe operations of a forklift - training will be provided.
* Must have the ability to read English.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
* Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
* Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
* Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
* Must be at least 18 years old.
Compensation:
* $17.00 per hour
