We are seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Business and People Assistant to support the day-to-day business, human resources, and administrative operations of our senior living community. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and ensuring the behind-the-scenes operations of the community run smoothly.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with payroll processing and timekeeping to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.
Coordinate new hire onboarding, including employment paperwork and orientation.
Assist team members with benefits enrollment and related documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Perform HR and payroll data entry within company systems.
Provide administrative support including filing, document preparation, data entry, and maintaining an organized business office.
Serve as a backup receptionist by greeting visitors, answering phones, and assisting residents, families, team members, and guests.
Communicate with the corporate support team regarding payroll, HR, and business office matters.
Support community leadership with additional administrative projects and duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of administrative or office experience required.
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Experience with payroll, timekeeping, HRIS, or accounting systems is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
