A highly analytical Senior Technical Business Analyst is needed to lead requirements engineering across a complex suite of enterprise applications. This role demands strong technical depth, exceptional documentation skills, and the ability to translate intricate business needs into precise, actionable technical specifications. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, developers, compliance, and operations teams to ensure solutions are fully defined, clearly understood, and ready for implementation.

Partner with business teams to gather and document requirements, objectives, and success criteria.

Lead workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to uncover needs, pain points, and dependencies.

Identify and validate business rules, workflows, decision points, and exception scenarios.

Conduct deep analysis of existing enterprise applications, integrations, data flows, and constraints.

Identify gaps, enhancement opportunities, and process improvements.

Maintain detailed documentation of system functionality and business processes.

Produce Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), feature specs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Apply structured formats such as GIVEN / WHEN / THEN (BDD) when appropriate.

Ensure requirements are complete, testable, traceable, and unambiguous.

Build process flows, decision trees, state diagrams, and interaction diagrams using tools like Mermaid.js, Visio, Miro, etc.

Document end‑to‑end business processes and system interactions.

Model data entities, relationships, and cross‑system mappings.

Work with architects to document APIs, integration points, data contracts, and interface requirements.

Analyze JSON payloads, API responses, and data structures.

Document data transformations and mapping requirements.

Act as liaison between business and technical teams.

Facilitate requirement reviews and clarification sessions.

Resolve ambiguities, conflicts, and gaps.

Support backlog refinement and sprint planning.

Provide requirement clarity throughout development cycles.

Participate in Agile ceremonies to offer functional context.

Define acceptance criteria and support UAT.

Validate delivered solutions against documented requirements.

Identify edge cases, exception scenarios, and error‑handling needs.

5–10+ years as a Technical Business Analyst or Systems Analyst.

Strong background with complex enterprise applications and integrations.

Financial Services / Banking experience strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of APIs, REST, JSON, and integration patterns.

Working knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and data mapping.

Ability to analyze technical artifacts and communicate findings clearly.

Proven requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation skills.

Experience writing functional specs, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

Ability to identify business impacts, dependencies, and risks.

Hands‑on experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Azure Dev Ops, or similar tools.

Exceptional written and verbal communication.

Strong facilitation and stakeholder management.

Ability to translate business language into technical requirements and vice versa.

Wealth Management, Digital Banking, or Fin Tech experience.

Markdown documentation experience.

Mermaid.js, Miro, Visio, or similar diagramming tools.

BDD methodology familiarity.

Experience defining Definition of Ready (DoR) standards.

Experience reverse‑engineering legacy systems or performing application audits.

5–10+ years Technical Business Analyst experience in software engineering environments.

Strong API, JSON, and integration analysis skills.

Ability to write highly structured technical requirements (FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria).

Deep experience analyzing enterprise applications and data flows.

Strong process modeling skills (Mermaid.js, Visio, Miro, etc.).

Exceptional communication and stakeholder management.
