Adjunct Instructor Bioinformatics - BI-GY

The Department of Biomedical Engineering at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering invites applications for part-time, non-tenured instructor positions with a start date of January 20, 2026. The department offers MS degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Bioinformatics, and PhD degrees in Biomedical Engineering.

In particular, we seek instructors to teach one graduate course: BI-GY 7733, Translational Genomics and Computational Biology. You should be an excellent teacher.

You should have a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, Genomics, or a closely related discipline and a record of teaching experience in these areas.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the contact hour rate for this position is $222.27. This rate is based on the collective bargaining agreement with Local 7902.
