Access Service Rep - Patient Access - Evening Shift Weekends

Evening (1:00pm–9:00pm) including weekends and holidays

Patient Access (Registrar) – Full‑time evening shift at New York‑Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, a 591‑bed facility affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College.

• Set the stage for the patient experience by providing professional and efficient customer service in line with the hospital’s “We put Patients First” goal.
• Maintain smooth workflow within the assigned registration areas.
• Oversee the registration process to ensure patients are registered courteously, confidentially, efficiently, and accurately.
• Interview patients or representatives for financial and demographic data and enter information accurately into the hospital’s ADT/EHR computer systems.
• Perform variety of clerical duties related to registration, admissions, discharges, and transfers according to hospital policies and procedures.
• Work independently while collaborating with colleagues across hospital departments to improve patient care.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of registrar‑related experience; preferred experience in a complex clinic or patient access setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Basic computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Superior customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
