• Lead position that rotates with technical staff covering CT, X‑ray and OR.
• Act as liaison between management and staff, assist in coordination of daily operations.
• Provide direction, designate assignments, and prioritize workload.
• Assign cases and other tasks to technical staff, establish patient‑flow priorities, room assignments, and prioritize cases based on patient condition.
• Review examinations to assure standards of quality and completeness are maintained, confirming items such as protocols and scheduling parameters are correct.
• Maintain all logs, e.g., fluoroscopy, daily room checks, shift change, etc.
• Assist with ACR Accreditation, DOH and Joint Commission readiness.
• Assign break and lunch times to technologists according to department standards and routines.
• Make substitutions and variations according to patient flow and departmental needs, including CCH1 and CCH

• Observe Department of Radiation Safety Procedures to maintain occupational exposures as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA).
• Interface with patient, staff and physicians both within and external to the department to facilitate improvement of the patient experience.
• Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition at all times.

• N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited program in the School of Radiologic Technology
• At least 1 year of experience

• N.Y. State Department of Health X‑ray License
• ARRT – CT certification

This is a full‑time position working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8:00am – 4:00pm, and Thursday, Friday 10:00am – 6:00pm.

All employees should live within commutable distance to NYP. NYP will not reimburse travel expenses.

Salary Range: $62.75 – $73.65 per hour.
