This position is a full-time day shift (6 AM-2:30 PM), 3 weekends per schedule located at New York-Presbyterian/ Brooklyn Methodist.
Preferred Criteria:
Minimum one year experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician or Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Technician/Patient Care Technician Program or Nursing Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program with documentation of completion.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Must be able to lift, move, and position patients of all weights with varying amounts of assistance in a fair manner on a regular and recurring basis including dexterity of fingers, hands, arms and feet with sensory requirements of speech, touch, vision and hearing to normal range with corrections.
