Job SummaryThe Recruiter is responsible for the full lifecycle of recruiting. This role involves developing and executing strategic recruiting plans, partnering with hiring managers and HR partners, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Essential Functions- Develop and execute recruiting strategies for each assigned client.
- Partner with hiring managers and HR generalists to understand business needs and set expectations.
- Educate hiring managers on the recruiting process and forecast hiring needs.
- Review diversity representation and develop strategies for sourcing diverse candidates.
- Coordinate internal and external posting processes, including screening applications and managing communications.
- Utilize internet recruiting techniques, including resume databases and search agents.
- Conduct cold calls and use employment research to identify potential candidates.
- Screen candidates using a behavioral-based interviewing process.
- Develop offer packages and extend offers to candidates.
- Coordinate pre-employment scheduling, background checks, and new hire orientation.
- Maintain comprehensive selection documentation and participate in recruiter meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice.
- Comply with all Key Bank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key’s clients and Key.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
Work Experience- 3+ years of recruiting or generalist experience, including professional-level recruiting. (preferred)
- Proven track record of developing, assessing, and hiring successful talent. (required)
- Experience in consumer banking recruiting. (preferred)
- Effective verbal and written communication to interact with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Building and maintaining relationships, understanding candidate needs, and fostering a positive candidate experience.
- Paying close attention to candidates' responses and concerns to better match them with suitable roles.
- Handling salary discussions, job offers, and other terms of employment.
- Managing multiple candidates and job openings simultaneously, keeping track of progress, and maintaining detailed records.
- Ensuring accuracy in job descriptions, candidate profiles, and other documentation.
- Addressing challenges such as hard-to-fill positions or unexpected changes in hiring needs.
- Prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines and manage recruitment cycles efficiently.
- Familiarity with recruitment software, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other digital tools.
- Understanding industry trends, salary benchmarks, and the competitive landscape.

Physical DemandsGeneral Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.
TravelOccasional travel to include overnight stay.

Compensation and BenefitsThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $57,000.00 - $87,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
