Application Engineer - BigID

Are you ready to take on an exciting opportunity as an Application Engineer, where your expertise with BigID will drive data privacy initiatives while crafting innovative solutions using leading cloud platforms?

• Design and implement effective BigID integrations with enterprise systems for seamless data discovery.
• Configure data discovery policies and connectors to meet compliance and security standards.
• Develop workflows to enhance scalability and performance using configuration tools and scripting.
• Enrich metadata to bolster data context and governance efforts.
• Collaborate closely with governance teams to ensure alignment with compliance frameworks.
• Address technical issues related to platform performance and data accuracy.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations and integrations.
• Guide junior team members and perform code reviews emphasizing best practices.
• Engage with vendor teams to address platform issues and explore potential enhancements.
• Stay informed on platform updates and evolving data privacy regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Experience with BigID development and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services.
• Understanding of data governance and privacy regulations.
• Ability to integrate data connectors and APIs.
• Competency in fundamentals of cloud technologies including IAM and networking.
• Working efficiently in agile environments with limited oversight.

• BigID Certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python or Shell.
• Previous involvement in data privacy or security projects.

The pay range for this role is $33 - $67 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
