- Experience in installation and configuration of various Cognos products in a multi-server environment.
- Experience in setting up the cognos security.
- IBM Cognos Cloud Experience is preferred.
- Work closely with all involved teams to deliver the upgrade of the environment to Cognos 11 within project deadlines.
- Experience integrating Cognos with various web servers such as IIS, OHS or Apache.
- Excellent UNIX/Linux and Windows scripting skills.
- Experience working Windows servers.
- Highly detailed, process oriented and client focused.
- Work closely with other Cognos Administrators and other teams to provide day to day support of the environment.
- Conduct reviews of the environment to identify areas of improvement.
- Provide support to business teams (environment users) to address problems and opportunities within the environment.
- Monitor/support batch processes and servers for performance issues Implement and maintain Cognos security.
- Provide technical support to Cognos power users.
- Experience working with Cognos in the cloud via Infrastructure As A Service (IaaS).
