We are seeking a Senior QA Lead to join our team for a large transformational project. The ideal candidate will demonstrate program-level leadership experience, exceptional communication skills, and a solution-driven mindset. This role involves coordinating all planning, execution, and recap functions for testing and quality safeguards throughout the software development lifecycle. The Senior QA Lead will lead other QA professionals and foster collaboration across development, QA, and business teams.

• Lead the QA team for a large transformational project, managing multiple quality leads and ensuring accountability for all quality assurance activities.
• Oversee quality in all project phases including requirements review, test script preparation, test execution, and comprehensive recap reporting.
• Identify gaps and confusions in user interface and workflow, highlighting risks associated with technical debt, schedule slippage, or other areas of concern to the project team.
• Schedule resources, estimate QA portion of project forecasts, manage testing needs with shared services, and manage PLC tollgates while calculating and tracking traceability and test coverage.
• Conduct defect triaging, assist with test result analysis, report on overall application and project health, and lead remediation efforts when needed.
• Create collaborative partnerships with Technical Leads, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders, actively engaging in grooming sessions, status meetings, and strategic planning.
• Serve as a thought leader contributing to the final product quality and overall project success.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required
• Experience:
  
  Three or more years of experience in quality assurance with strong organizational skills and the ability to both delegate and lead hands-on work
• Extensive knowledge of quality assurance practices and methods
• Understanding of test automation coverage with ability to guide exploratory testers to fill gaps
• Intimate understanding of application domains, release schedules, and user communities
• Ability to assess application functionality by risk, impact, and importance to prioritize test execution and concentrate test coverage appropriately
• Domain knowledge or ability to quickly understand core functionality and client experience of applications

• Program-level leadership experience in large-scale software projects
• Experience with program and conversion reporting
• Proven track record of working effectively across development, QA, and Lines of Business
• Expertise in testing traceability and defect triaging processes

• Command of resource types and quantities needed for each effort with ability to maximize assignments for greatest impact
• Process optimization mindset—identifying automation opportunities, spotting tasks that don t add value, and eliminating waste
• Expertise in exploratory testing and guiding others in exploratory test paths to maximize coverage
• Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Leadership capability across all project phases with ability to communicate status and risks in detail
• Strong analytical skills to assess and report on quality metrics, application health, and project risks
• Solution and data-driven approach to problem-solving
