DevOps Engineer

Location: 4910 Tiedeman Road, Brooklyn Ohio

Provides deployment and support of Kubernetes clusters, deploys enterprise software solutions, and cloud platforms. Utilizes automation to reduce toil and create improvements within the Key Bank environment. Collaborates across departments to ensure uptime for clusters and hosted applications. Participates in on-call rotations.

• Develop and enhance Kubernetes, containerization and cloud strategy and implementation
• Provide technical support for applications hosted within the Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Develop and enhance Infrastructure As Code (IAC) configurations for Key Bank on-premise and cloud Kubernetes environments
• Influence technical direction by advocating for new tools, practices, and approaches that improve delivery speed, reliability, and quality.
• Ensure alignment with security and compliance standards in all Dev Ops activities, including automation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
• Complies with all Key Bank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.
• Provide on-call support which can include after-hours and weekend work.

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience. (preferred)

• 3+ years of experience in Dev Ops engineering including CI/CD, Cloud and IAC
• 3+ years of experience in Kubernetes support and administration

• Designing and optimizing Infrastructer as Code configurations with Terraform or Pulumi
• Kubernetes experience including cloud or on-premise supporting cluster operations, upgrades and workload management
• CI/CD tools and workflow tools like Gitlab CI, Github Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI
• Designing and optimizing continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Leading and contributing to Agile development and iterative delivery processes.
• Translating release needs into scalable, automated solutions.
• Managing deployments and infrastructure in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Using tools like Git to manage codebases and collaboration.
• Networking knowledge
• Linux / Windows knowledge
• Using configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
• Continuously refining Dev Ops processes and introducing new tools or practices.
• Writing scripts and automation tools to support deployment and monitoring. (Python, Bash are preferred)
• Ensuring Dev Ops practices align with organizational security policies.

• Hybrid (2+ days)

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $ annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based on various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
