Business Analytics Manager

Location: 4910 Tiedeman Road, Brooklyn, Ohio

The Business Analytics Manager leads the formulation of hypotheses, translation of data, design and measurement of experiments, and generation of insights to inform business decisions. The role involves performing complex diagnostic analyses to answer questions such as "Why did it happen?" and "What action can I take?". This manager guides a team or project through advanced reporting and complex analyses, maps processes, applies controls, and uses business, industry, benchmark data, and strategic knowledge to identify and anticipate business needs and opportunities.

Success is measured by strong communication, conflict resolution, prioritization, collaboration, and the ability to link day‑to‑day work to the broader business strategy.

• Review deliverables and coach others on approach and work product.

• Communicate effectively with team and business partners, articulating broad implications and impacts.
• Address challenging situations, anticipate conflicts, and demonstrate managerial courage.
• Coach and guide others, serving as a mentor within and beyond the team.
• Manage integration of activities within the own team.
• Perform other duties as assigned, with responsibilities able to change at any time.
• Comply with all policies and procedures, acting professionally, ethically, and in the best interests of clients.

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, or Natural Sciences.
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Financial Mathematics, Statistics, or Natural Sciences.

• 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree (required).
• 3+ years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree (preferred).

• Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data presentation.
• Query writing or coding with complex joins.
• Business intelligence and data visualization to tell impactful stories.
• Analytical programming (Python, R, SQL, Java).
• Process flow and automation understanding.
• Big data handling and data warehouse navigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including coaching others.
• Strong presentation development and executive presence.
• Leadership and mentorship of peers and indirect reports.
• Conflict anticipation and resolution.
• Strategic thinking and critical analysis for long‑term decisions.
• Effective partnership with mid‑to‑senior leadership.

General office setting – prolonged sitting, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting of items up to 10 lbs. Occasional travel with overnight stay.

Hybrid (3+ days in office).

Base salary range: $96,000.00 – $ annually. Compensation may include incentive components such as production, commission, or discretionary incentives. Eligible for benefits as described by Key Bank.
