Job Summary

The Consumer Bank Product Segment Manager leads a team responsible for the strategy, development, and performance of consumer banking products. This role is pivotal in driving profitability while maintaining a moderate risk profile. The Manager leverages market research, data analytics, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver innovative, client‑focused solutions. This position partners closely with analytics, underwriting, technology, and marketing teams to ensure products and services align with client needs and business objectives.

Functions
  • Lead a team in the design, development, and management of consumer banking products and services.
  • Oversee product acquisition strategies, credit decisioning processes, and portfolio performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance product offerings and service delivery.
  • Utilize industry research, competitive intelligence, and data insights to identify and target profitable client segments.
  • Identify and resolve product and system inefficiencies that impact client acquisition and relationship deepening.
  • Manage vendor relationships to support product delivery and innovation.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve performance goals and foster professional growth.

Education

Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree. Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

Required:

Equivalent experience.

Work Experience

Required:

A minimum of 7 years of experience in financial services or a comparable industry.

Preferred: A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, community development, marketing, or communications, with a strong emphasis on compliance and risk management.

Licenses and Certifications

Preferred:
Project Management Professional (PMP) – PMI.

  • Ensuring that product features, services, and enhancements are closely aligned with evolving customer expectations and behaviors.
