We are currently seeking an experienced Die Cutting Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of printing and have operated a die cutting press. The candidate will set up, adjust, monitor, and operate a die cutting machine: dismantle previous job, log impressions on saved jobs with date, press and chase number, or dispose of dies as marked, pull samples and glue set to check for accuracy according to the specifications.

The Die Cutting Operator will focus on continuously checking for accuracy and quality, monitor the machine, and correct problems, ensuring quality of finished products.

SHIFT - 2nd

As our Die Cutting Operator, you will:

• Adjust and operate the die cutting machine, preparing all required processes (e.g., stripping, blanking).
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on equipment.
• Ensure total quality of the job while in operation.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate teamwork spirit.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner.

You're a fit for the role if your background includes:

• Previous experience as a Die Cutting Operator or Die Cutting Pressman in the printing, packaging, or folding carton industry.
• Hands‑on experience with steel rule dies, counter plates, make‑ready materials, and stripping/blanking tools.
• Strong understanding of paperboard substrates (SBS, CCNB, Kraft, etc.) and how they affect cutting, scoring, and creasing.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, CAD layouts, die lines, and quality specifications.
• Proven ability to complete accurate make‑readies with minimal supervision.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills with die cutting equipment.
• Familiarity with Bobst, Heidelberg, or similar equipment (preferred).
• Solid math skills and ability to measure tight tolerances.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a manufacturing environment.
• A positive, team‑oriented attitude and strong work ethic.

Salary: $21.00 - $31.00 per hour
