Kits Lead

Description

As a working lead, help direct and coordinate all kit assembly workflow. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kit team, making sure everyone is pulling their weight, distributing the workload evenly and making sure motivation and performance levels are maintained within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the entire work order process for kit assembly.
• Delegate work orders to the kit team to meet business and customer order deadlines.
• Communicate with other Leads in the department, as needed to properly coordinate parts to support production of various kits.
• Act as quality control, ensuring customer satisfaction through guiding and training employees properly and adhering to company policy.
• Maintain orderly work stations, storing and maintaining the tools, parts, test equipment and documentation necessary.
• Maintain and build strong team work by providing leadership through positivity, encouragement, motivation, and living the VE values (family, collaboration, authenticity, growth & recognition, and innovation).
• Assists with kit assembly.
• Other duties as assigned
