Licensed Practical Nurse - NYP Medical Group Brooklyn - Primary Care & Multispecialty
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care as delegated by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Contributes to the plan of patient care and assists in providing a therapeutic environment. Functions within the policies and procedures of the hospital, divisions, and the Clinical Nursing Departments.
This is a 37.5 scheduled work week, Monday‑Friday with one Saturday a month schedule with a varied schedule of 8:00AM to 5:00PM hours located at 50 Court Street, Brooklyn, NY. Must be willing to travel to cover at other locations within the Brooklyn Medical group locations.
- Specialty practice experience
- Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
- Phlebotomy Skills
- Knowledge in Principles of infection control
- Knowledge in Principles of performance improvements
- Knowledge in Principles of delegation
