Position: (USA) Member Specialist - Part Time

Responsibilities

  • Provide member service and maintain the checkout area.
  • Resolve member issues and concerns, and promote Sam’s Club products and services.
  • Offer guidance and support regarding self‑service technology.
  • Process member purchases, handle payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies for different membership and payment types.
  • Follow safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps and reporting unsafe situations to facility management.
  • Maintain entrance and exit areas, verify membership cards, and identify member needs.
  • Zone the area, arrange and organize merchandise, and identify shrink and damages.
  • Assist members with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, and transporting items.
  • Ensure compliance with security and safety practices, conduct emergency response procedures, and maintain required documentation.
  • Assist with training Member Frontline Services associates on company processes, new technology, and tool functionality.
  • Deliver new program rollout training and provide continuous learning and process improvement opportunities.
Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage for the job location.

Additional compensation may be paid in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register).
  • Experience working with mobile retail applications.
