Reliable power doesn’t happen by accident—it’s built, maintained, and protected by skilled technicians. As a Power Generation Service Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping large‑scale generator systems running for customers who depend on consistent, dependable power. This is hands‑on, technical work supporting standby and prime power applications across a wide range of industries.
You’ll work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
What You’ll Do- Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair power generation equipment ranging from 500 kW to 2,000 kW
- Perform engine, mechanical, and electrical diagnostics on diesel generator systems
- Clean, recondition, overhaul, and rebuild generator engines and components
- Read and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Determine parts reusability per manufacturer guidelines and initiate salvage or replacement requests
- Accurately complete service reports and documentation
- Perform all work safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of experience servicing power generation equipment, diesel engines, or related industrial systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on generator or engine rebuild experience
- Solid knowledge of DC electrical systems and machine electronic controls
- Ability to follow technical manuals, service procedures, and manufacturer updates
- Work on large‑scale, mission‑critical power generation equipment
